Additional Assignments:
- Imperialism Document Analysis - You will be given a copy in class. HIPP each document and be prepared to discuss them in class. Google Doc File
- League of Nations Discussion - Mrs. Myers will hand out a reading about the ratification debate and you will prepare arguments for a classroom discussion on the Treaty of Versailles and League of Nations. You will need to read about and prepare to discuss all three positions. Annotated notes will be checked by Mrs. Myers prior to the discussion.
- 1920s Clash - Traditional vs. Modern - Graphic organizer will be completed in class.
- Progressive Era vs New Deal Reforms - You will be given this in class.
- New Deal Document Analysis - You will be given documents to analyze in class.
- US Response to the Holocaust - You will be given a worksheet in class.
- Atomic Bomb Debate - Analyze the documents provided by Mrs. Myers on America's decision to drop the atomic bomb and be prepared to discuss them in class. Google Doc. We will be having a debate on the decision so you should investigate both the pros and cons of dropping the bomb as well. Bring detailed notes.
